Biophilia Series (Florida) - Matted Color Photographs - Jen Jeskey
Regular price $40.00Inspired by Edward O. Wilson’s book, Biophilia, this ongoing body of work is centered around the exploration of instinct. Initially termed by Erich Fromm, Biophilia is a hypothesis that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. By observing color, movement and perspectives of the natural world, Yeskey seeks to engage with her own innate curiosity to connect with other forms of life.
In any given community there is always that one person that everyone seems to know and love. Ask me who that someone is in the Orlando area and I would tell you that his name is Doug Rhodehamel, and that he loves a vodka martini, gives THE BEST hugs and is one of the most creative and beloved humans alive.
